Christmas Celebration

It is the 24th December 2009.

We had Christmas celebrations today.

The Christmas Wreath

The children from the two K2 classes are together.

As Christmas is coming soon, each of us is making a Christmas wreath.

Here is how we do it.

i) Having handprints printed on two drawing blocks.

ii) Cutting the dried handprints and pasting it around a paper plate.

(Demonstrated by Nathaniel, Wei Qi and Chamaine).

What's on Tuesday? - Part 2

This is a continuation of the activity which was posted last week.

Children to assemble the cut pattern pieces according to the

picture given below.

The children's completed lion pattern.

The children will be bringing their very own lion patterns home this Friday. More excitement coming up next Tuesday.

What's on Tuesday?

On every Tuesday, one group of children is involve in an art activity while the other group

is taking part in a craft activity.

In this craft activity, every child is given two pieces of paper with different shapes printed on it.

With these pattern pieces on hand, we put our fine motor skills to use by ....

(a) we add colours of our liking to them.

(b) we cut all the patterns from the two given pieces of paper.
